A diode laser very precisely removes soft tissue (such as the gums) and bone tissue. The doctors use it in gum disease treatment to decontaminate infected gum pockets and to remove diseased gum tissue. It is also sometimes used for gum recontouring, or to remove the decayed part of a tooth when treating a cavity.

Waterlase dental laser for gentle care.

The Waterlase dental laser serves as a comfortable alternative to drills in the treatment of cavities. It uses a laser in combination with water spray to precisely cut tooth, gum or bone tissue efficiently and without heat. Our doctors use it for treating tooth cavities, for implant procedures, and for gum recontouring.
